Junior Clinicians

Ms Theresa Bourke , Provisional Psychologist

​Theresa is an AHPRA-registered Provisional Psychologist who has completed her Masters in Professional Psychology at Victoria University. She'll be joining Maple Leaf Psychology & Allied Health to complete her final internship in March 2025.

Theresa has an array of experience in working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. She recognises the uniqueness of each client, customising treatments to address emotional and developmental challenges from childhood through to older adulthood. Theresa prioritises building authentic therapeutic connections and supporting clients in achieving their goals.

​Theresa has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent clients, as well as culturally diverse clients. She works with clients presenting with depression, anxiety and stress, aged 8 years and over, privately and through NDIS-funding.

Ms Molly McVean , Provisional Psychologist

Molly is an AHPRA-registered Provisional Psychologist who has completed her Masters in Professional Psychology at La Trobe University, who is finishing her final internship at Maple Leaf Psychology & Allied Health.

Molly has many years' experience working within the mental health and wellness sectors, with both adolescents and adults.
Molly values the uniqueness of each client, tailoring treatments to address a range of emotional and developmental concerns across the adolescent to older adult lifespan. She values forming genuine therapeutic connections with her clients and assist them in meeting their goals.​

Molly primarily utilises Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) but also incorporates elements of other third-wave modalities. She works with clients presenting with depression, anxiety and stress.​Molly sees clients aged 16 years and over, privately and through NDIS-funding.

Ms Heather Litchfield , Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Heather is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker under the Australian Association of Social Work, with thirteen years in practice alongside young people, adults, and families, within child protection, public mental health and private practice.

Heather provides a space for a genuine authentic connection based on compassion, where you are the expert on your experience. Heather walks alongside her clients through their journey of self-discovery assisting them to make meaningful change.

Heather specialises in collaborating with her clients experiencing a range of challenges within their lives such as anxiety, depression, body image, disordered eating, emotional eating, relationships, carrying the mental load of modern life, experiencing a negative inner critic, poor boundaries, low self-esteem and eating disorders among others.

Heather sees clients aged 12 and over (17 and over for clients with Eating Disorders), via Mental Health Care Plans, Eating Disorder Treatment Plans and privately.

Mr Nicholas (Nick) Manno, Psychologist

​Nick is an AHPRA-registered Psychologist, undertaking his Clinical Registrar training with Maple Leaf Psychology & Allied Health, starting in March 2025.

Nick has experience working with adolescents and adults in a private clinic and in public health. Nick primarily works from a Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT) perspective but integrates more mindfulness-based approaches into his work.​

Nick has a special interest in working with clients with anxiety, including those with Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety and Phobias, but also sees older adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety and stress. Nick sees clients aged 15 years and over, under Mental Health Care Plans (Medicare), NDIS-funding and privately.

Senior Clinicians

Ms Di Buckley, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Graduate Diploma of Counselling

Di worked in the community sector in homelessness, crisis services, foster care, and family services for twenty years before transitioning to counselling services. Within these roles she has gained significant experience in addressing the mental health needs of women, men, adolescents, children, and relationship issues within families.


Di uses strategies drawn from trauma theory, grief counselling, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, crisis interventions, narrative techniques, cognitive behavioural therapy, and other modalities.

Di sees clients from the age of ten years, through adolescence and adulthood, under Mental Health Treatment Plans and privately.​ Di is also experienced in providing clinical supervision and reflective practice for individuals and groups.

Ms Jade Cox , Clinical Psychologist

Jade is a registered clinical psychologist with experience in private, community and hospital mental health settings. She has experience working across the lifespan and has worked with a broad range of mental health difficulties.

She enjoys working with a diverse range of clients and her areas of interest include but are not limited to depression, anxiety, health related concerns, relationship and adjustment issues and self-esteem.​

Jade sees clients aged 16 and over, via Mental Health Care Plans and privately.

Ms Madison Wills, Psychologist

Madison is a registered psychologist with experience working in private practice settings. She has a special interest in neurodivergence and always aims to provide neuroaffirming support, seeing a range of clients with depression, anxiety, stress and self-esteem related concerns, using a range of interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and mindfulness-based techniques.

In addition to her individual work, Madison assists our team with Autism, ADHD and educational assessments.


Madison sees clients aged 17 and above for individual therapy, both privately and under Mental Health Care Plans, and a range of clients for her assessment-based work

Practice Director

Dr Claire Milligan, Clinical Psychologist

Dr Claire Milligan is a Clinical Psychologist and the director of Maple Leaf Psychology & Allied Health.

Claire has over 10 years' experience in both the public and private sectors. She sees adolescents and adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and trauma issues, amongst other issues. Claire is trained in CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy and practices Internal Family Systems-informed care.

As well as overseeing the team at Maple Leaf Psychology & Allied Health, ​Claire sees a limited number of clients aged 15 and over, via Mental Health Care Plans and privately. As an endorsed Clinical Supervisor, Claire is also available for clinical supervision.
